Chilam Joshi — Celebration of Life

Joshe, also known as Chilam Joshi, is the most important spring festival of the Kalash people. Celebrated in mid-May, this vibrant festival marks the arrival of spring, new life, and the beginning of the mating season. The valleys come alive with colorful traditional dresses, rhythmic drumming, and joyful dances that continue for days.

Day 4: Bonfire Night

Grand bonfire ceremony with special "Cha Mos" dances performed by men around the fire.

Day 5: Closing Rituals

Final blessings, flower offerings, and closing prayers for prosperity.
